Prior to forming DeBoer Law Office, P.C., Dustin served the local community for over 7 years in his position as Senior Deputy State's Attorney for Minnehaha County, South Dakota, the largest county in the State.
In that position, he conducted dozens of jury trials involving both felony and misdemeanor offenses. Some of the jury trials involved charges of Homicide; Aggravated Assaults (with and without weapons); Armed Robbery; Burglary; Simple Assaults; Sexual Contact; Violations of Protection Order; and Possession of Controlled Substance. Dustin was also a part-time civil attorney for Minnehaha County where he was the chief consulting attorney for the Minnehaha County Planning & Zoning Office. In this role, he also was a general advisor for all county offices as well as the Minnehaha County Commission.
Dustin W. DeBoer
Dustin W. DeBoer formed DeBoer Law Office, P.C., in February of 2011. His primary areas of practice include representing people who have been injured as a result of another's negligence or recklessness (Personal Injury), Criminal Law Defense, and general litigation or trial matters.
Dustin was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was raised and completed his primary schooling in Brandon, South Dakota.
He obtained his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of South Dakota (USD) in Vermillion, South Dakota.
After graduating from USD, he attended the University of South Dakota School of Law in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Prior to joining the State's Attorney's Office, Dustin was an associate with a small Sioux Falls firm for 5 years, where he represented hundreds of clients charged with criminal offenses and clients needing the assistance of an attorney for personal injury claims.
